What a Perfect Day

I'm sure many of you are thinking the same thing about the day that was 25 December 2012. I'm so sad it's over already. But we'll always have the memories...

  1. Glad you had a lovely day! We did too. Simple and special. Love the picture of jacky-ginge and his tinsel collar. We have to keep tinsel well away from our lovely boy as he eats it.

  9. Glad you had such a great day, even the cat in on the action! Our Minnie has just got used to the tree and isn't attacking the baubles anymore! I'm not sure she would do tinsel, not just yet anyway, may be in a few years! :) x

  10. There's a bright light on the horizon when feeling sad about the fact that Christmas is over - it is less than a year to the next one! I love Christmas but there are lots of other holidays to celebrate. We had Yule, then Christmas, then there's New Year to come, followed by Plough Sunday - all within the couple of weeks that children are off school. There's also snuggling up with eidies and quilts by a roaring fire to enjoy over the next two or three months. Beautiful, beautiful winter!

    Your cat looks splendid in tinsel, and your husband looks wonderful in his Christmas sweater (very Bridget Jones' Diary)!

    Someday I want to make a real Christmas pudding, but I compromised this year and make a gingerbread cake, which was delicious!
